Each weight includes 12 iron rod inserts that weigh 2.7 ounces. The weighted rods can be easily inserted or removed in the fabric pouches made of a durable nylon fabric. First, select the weight desired and lift the flap covering the weight pouch to add or remove weighted inserts as needed. Next, replace the flap cover over the weights and pull apart the hook and loop fastener. Then wrap the ankle weight around ankle with the weight pouch to the rear and the hook and loop fastener to the front and press fastener in place.
